Behind the perfume
Mango After Dark started with a personal obsession. Mango, in its ripest form, has a depth and softness that always felt more intimate than playful to me.
There was also a phrase that stayed with me, under the mango tree, something I came to associate with closeness, warmth and quiet romance.
I didn’t want to recreate that literally, but to translate the feeling behind it. Something shared, slightly hidden, unfolding slowly in the night air.
By adding spice and depth, the fruit moves away from brightness and into something more controlled, more grounded.
Mango After Dark is about intimacy that isn’t shown, but felt. It lingers close, and reveals itself in layers.
